Hi! My name is Pandora and I came to H.O.P.E. in early April.
I got to go strait to a Foster Home due to my needing extra care,
as I am mostly blind and I had a bad wound on my side.
great manners both indoors and outside.
contrasting colors (i.e. light against dark and dark against light).
I am super smart!
I get along with other dogs, but am a little aloof towards them. Would rather be with my humans. Living with 2 foster k9 brothers and 4 cats right now. I am fine with cats. No danger in my going after them. But you should know I am afraid of cats. They kind of spook me out. If cats leave me alone, I am very happy.
If you look behind my right shoulder, you will see my wound. HOPE or Foster Mom can't figure how it happened. I came to them this way. I am on antibiotics and it's healing nicely at this time.
I am still learning how to play. Now that I know my surroundings better, I am starting to run with my foster brothers and around the yard. But only for a little bit. My best environment would be a fenced yard or a home that won't let me run outside by myself for long. It's taken me a week to learn my yard.
Love to sun bathe......Love to be outside. I walk wonderful on a
lead or off (if I know where I'm going and you are at!).
So feel free to contact HOPE at hopemi@chartermi.net for more info or to set a time to come visit me. I will be waiting.
P.S. You should know I am afraid of new people. There is a very simple way to help me with that. If you understand the Shepard breed and blind dogs, then I am the perfect dog! If you don't know German Shepards or blind dogs, be sure visit HOPE for many other dogs that would be better suited for you and your family. http://www.myhopeanimalshelter.org/ (906)932-1511
